Cobie has grown up her whole life without a mother and father, so she is used to the emptiness she sometimes feels inside. 

As an adult, she assumes that most of her family is dead, until a mysterious message arrives. 

Eager for a family connection, she goes on a quest that will lead her to unexpected places. However, the more she learns, the more she is asked to give up.
