Former Pinkerton gun-hand Matthew Slade arrives in post-Gold Rush era San Francisco looking for a new start in life. But all he finds is trouble as he unwittingly rescues Mai Lee, a little Chinese girl wanted by the city’s criminal underworld! Can a gunslinger used to the open plains and prairies of the West deal with the criminal underworld of a crowded metropolis?
