The Eyes of Little Birds

After being blinded in a fire, Tom Vincent has his eyes replaced in an experimental procedure involving nanotechnology. His eyes are made up of two tiny armies that combine to transmit crystal clear images to his brain, and that react and rebuild themselves when attacked. The eyes are a success, until Vincent notices people around him are dying suddenly — and violently. How do you fight an enemy that can literally see everything you can see?
