You may not believe in them, but fairies are real. They live among us, and they're not the pretty little winged women portrayed in cartoons. They're seriously scary, powerful beings who are held in check by an ancient truce and a group of psychic soldiers called the Extinguishers. Seren Sloane is one of these soldiers; trained to keep the peace. But ever since the death of her mother at the hands of fairies, Seren has been a little bitter about her job.
