Sex, Drugs, and Scrubs

The men Sharon dates never try to find out who she really is or how her childhood traumas shaped and molded her; they only want to have sex with her perfect body. Dave is an idealistic young doctor out to save humanity and right the wrongs of the world, but he is troubled by the challenges of doing an internship in a large city’s county hospital and he has difficulty coping with the harsh realities he deals with there. Dave’s best friend and mentor is a member of the lucky gene club. Henry is handsome, brilliant, and wealthy, but he is also cynical, pragmatic, and devoid of emotion in his approach to life. They struggle to maintain some semblance of balance on the ever-shifting sands of the rapidly changing mores and morals of the counterculture in an attempt to navigate the fluid morass of the present in order to obtain a secure, solid future.
