The Ancient Tripod of Peace

Teen sleuths pursue thieves.  Grappling with loneliness, Lexi hopes to make friends in high school. But, after relics are stolen from her dad's museum, her priorities change.  Cipher enthusiast Gil hopes for a clean slate as a freshman. Though initially at odds, he and Lexi become fast friends as they discover secrets are coded within a Shakespearean play, pulling them into an ancient mystery.  Though officials misstep in their investigation, the teen sleuths join forces to crack the case. Lexi’s inquiries and Gil's code-breaking first amuses, then alarms the culprits. The thieves wield the Tripod of Peace, a relic of astounding power eagerly sought by rival secret societies. Caught in the crossfire, Lexi and Gil navigate tricky alliances.
